About SlangTee

For the Real Ones

SlangTee makes signals, not stickers.

The things people choose to put on their water bottles, laptops, vans and toolboxes aren’t decoration. They’re markers, quiet ways of saying who you are, what you’re part of, where you’ve been. That’s what we make.

We’re not in the sticker business. We’re in the identity business. Stickers are simply the medium we work in.

We work from one belief: identity is earned, not manufactured. In a world of algorithms and noise, the things people are genuinely proud to be part of don’t need to shout. They just need a way to be recognised.

That’s what the best stickers do. On a van door, a laptop lid, a water bottle that’s covered some distance, a workbench that’s earned its scratches. Small artefacts, carried through everyday life. The best ones aren’t thrown away. They’re kept.

Built for Real Communities
We don’t invent communities. We celebrate the ones that already exist. Every community has its own language, its own humour, its own way of recognising its people. Farmers, tradespeople, swimmers, climbers, clubs, independent shops. People want to belong to something real, and they want a way to show it.

That’s what we build around. Not trend. Not noise. Signal.

Where It Started
SlangTee didn’t start as a brand. It started in a skate sesh with Cal, in the mini-house. Hours of skating, talking, messing about, the kind of days that don’t feel like they’ll matter until years later. One afternoon someone walked over and asked where I’d got my T-shirt. I remember that feeling exactly. Something had happened that couldn’t be forced. I didn’t know it then, but that feeling became SlangTee.

The first slogans I ever printed were Two to Make It True and First Try. Small things. But there was a spark in it... a signal... I just didn’t have the language for yet.

The Long Way Back
Then life pulled the rug out from under it, for a long stretch. Not gradually, all at once, in the way that leaves you no time to prepare. For years there wasn’t room to build anything. I was just getting through it.

SlangTee, as it exists today, isn’t a revival of the old idea. It’s what remained after years of refining what really mattered. The medium changed. The philosophy didn’t.

Everything we make since is built around one idea: Signal Over Noise. Real communities don’t need to shout. They recognise each other.

Two Sides of SlangTee

SlangTee Originals
Our own collections, built around the people, places and identities we think deserve marking.

SlangTee Collaborations
Sticker collections built with clubs, brands and organisations for their own communities. Every collaboration starts with the same question: who are your people? Our job isn’t just to make another sticker. It’s to create something your community is genuinely proud to carry. Something that says, I’m one of them.

Different collections. One philosophy.

For the Real Ones. Signal Over Noise.
