About SlangTee

A Quiet Beginning. A Long Road Home.

The First Spark
SlangTee didn’t start as a brand. It began in a skate sesh with Cal in the mini-house. Hours of skating, talking, and messing around. One day people walked over and asked where I’d got my T-shirt. I remember the feeling. Like something had landed without me trying to make it happen.

Those were the early days. The first slogans I ever printed were Two to make it true and First Try. There was something there. A spark. A signal. I just didn’t have the language for it yet.

The Ground Underneath
The mini-house is where everything happened. The good, the messy, the real. It’s where I learned how fast life can change. It’s where my brother died. It’s where, in the same stretch of time, everything collapsed and I was left abandoned, betrayed, lost, alone.

The first seedlings of SlangTee were planted there too… and then buried by everything that came after.

The Work
For a long while I wasn’t creating anything. I was just surviving. The road back wasn’t just recovery. It was a descent inward. Into the past. Into the places I’d shut down and locked away. Parts of me that had been frozen since childhood started knocking again, louder, wanting to be seen, wanting to be heard.

It was long, messy, honest work. Looking back, it feels like a rite of passage. A journey into wholeness. Into freedom. Into who I really am.

The Signal of Return
SlangTee is what rose out of that. Not the brand I tried to start back then. The one that got interrupted before it could become anything. This is the version that returned years later, when I finally had something real to say.

In a culture built on noise and algorithms, we trust what’s earned. We don’t make stickers. We make signals. Small artefacts that carry identity.

You’ll find them on the things that take you through your life: the van door, the laptop, the water bottle, the workbench, the journal on the passenger seat. Each one is a marker. Each design a doorway.

SlangTee is about being real in a world of noise. It’s for anyone who’s ever been lost, found, broken, rebuilt, wandering, working, or quietly trying to make sense of the road they’re on.

If this feels like home, you’re already part of it.

If this is your frequency, here's where to find it.
